This vessel has been in the water exactly four times. She was tested twice by Mr. Murphy the builder, and used twice by her owner for a total of 95 hours. In 1991 her owner was transferred overseas and for her next 21 years she was stored in a climate controlled storage facility, professionally taken care of.
Her forward V-Berth allows an overnight stay, or a quick nap out of the weather. Her dual bench seated dinette is portside, and her galley has an alcohol stove for a hot dinner. The pump-out head is starboard and keeps the women happy.
Her helm is flybridge style and is well thought out. Her lower helm station is large and comfortable as well and is as equipped as well as the upper station. The flybridge seating is a work of art and the seats are well padded custom built wooden pieces of furniture.
The cockpit features a raised fighting chair position, and transom mounted downriggers. Her Volvo Penta 260 hp engine with dual prop drive sits beneath the floor and presents, for easy service. She even has a Seagull vintage trolling motor. She is equipped with every possible option to make fishing or cruising a great experience. She has a remote control spotlight, windlass, shore power, electronics, and a Bimini top.
People, this is a one of a kind work of art. She was built by craftsman that took pride in their work. Anyone can have a fishing boat, but only one person can have a Murphy Sportfisherman.
